Our Instructors
Maria Staub Goebel is a graduate of Towson University and has been teaching privately since 1978. She has exhibited and received a number of awards in various juried shows in the Baltimore area. Maria has been a juried member of the Baltimore Watercolor Society and works extensively in watercolor, oils & pastel.
George Goebel is a graduate of the Maryland Institute College of Art. He has had many of his acrylic paintings published in North Light Books, the Artist Magazine and American Artist. George is currently represented by the Erlich Gallery in Marblehead, Massachusetts, the Bayview Gallery in Camden Maine and Isalos Fine Art Gallery in Stonington, Maine.
Eileen Clements is a graduate of Towson University and has directed and taught in a number of high school art departments in the Baltimore area. She has recently been awarded the honor of teacher of the year 2008 at the Mount deSales Academy.
Katie Baldwin is a graduate of Villa Julie College and is presently working toward her masters in teaching. She has been teaching the 6 to 8 year old classes at Staub Art Studio since 2004.
Maria Horwitz has been studying under the direction of Maria Staub Goebel since 2001 and is presently attending CCBC. She has been co- teaching the 6 to 8 year old classes since 2006.
Chelsea Goebel is the daughter of Maria Staub Goebel & George Goebel and is a graduate of Salisbury University. She is presently working toward her masters in teaching. When available, Chelsea has been teaching the 6 to 8 year old classes since since 2001.
